This is our favorite London Fog tea latte recipe. Typically London Fog teas are made with Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and vanilla flavoring; however, we love the addition of lavender to this classic recipe. The aroma and subtle flavors are comforting and make for a delicious creamy latte drink.

Preparing our delicious lavender London fog tea latte
Step 1: Brewing your tea
Brew 8 oz of Lavender Earl Grey loose leaf tea according to package instructions.
Package Instructions: 1 tsp of Lavender Earl Grey loose leaf tea per 8 oz of boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
Note: Don’t throw out your tea after brewing. Loose-leaf tea can be re-steeped up to 4 times.
Step 2: Froth your milk
Froth 4 oz of milk of your choice. If you don’t have a milk frother, that’s okay. You can microwave the milk by following these easy steps.
Pour the 4 oz of milk into a mason jar.
Screw on the mason jar lid and shake the jar as hard as you can until the milk is froth and has roughly doubled in volume. This takes about 30 to 60 seconds.
Take the lid off the jar and microwave uncovered for 30 seconds. The milk foam will rise to the top as the milk gets warm.
Step 3: Combine all your ingredients
In your cup of hot tea, mix in the sugar and vanilla extract and stir with a spoon until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the warm milk into your tea and spoon the milk foam on top.
Step 4: Presentation
Top your tea with lavender flowers or loose leaf tea to create a spectacular presentation and enjoy!
